Dear Friends
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday evening of the need for a new period of lockdown from 6th January onwards, the current guidelines still allow places of worship to be open so the public celebration of Mass will continue in both of our churches.
Places of worship:
You can attend places of worship for a service. However, you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble. You should maintain strict social distancing at all times. You should follow the national guidance on the safe use of places of worship.
The full guidance can be found here: National lockdown: Stay at Home – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Bookings can be made using the usual link on our webpage
To protect you and the rest of our church community please read the information on the booking page before you come along:
- Please DO NOT attend if you or any member of your household have any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has.
- If after booking a mass you later find for whatever reason that you are not going to be able to attend could you please cancel the booking and give someone else the opportunity to take your place. To cancel a booking – follow the link in your confirmation email and click refund.
Please keep a close eye on the parish website and Facebook Page for any further announcements.
The Mass as celebrated by Fr Dennis McBride continues to be available online for those who are unable to attend.
Fr John
