Re-opening of churches survey

To enable future planning it is very important to understand your views on what you might hope for once our churches re-open.  It is very important that we gather as much information as possible in advance of our churches re-opening and your feedback is vital! Each adult in your household is invited to complete the survey.

  • When church re-opens the seating capacity will be restricted to enable maintenance of social distancing, therefore you will only be able to attend Mass on one day each week.
  • As our Sunday obligation has not yet been reinstated, it is hoped that people will attend weekday Masses instead and leave places available at our Sunday Masses for those who have to work or who are otherwise unable to attend Mass during the week.
  • Places at Masses must be booked in advance, by using an online booking form, and bookings will be taken for: individuals; couples (2 people from the same household or social bubble); or families (2 adults and 3 children or 4 adults from the same household/social bubble).  If you have not booked a place you will not be allowed to attend.
  • Church will be opened ten minutes before Mass is due to start and it will be necessary to record your presence for track and trace purposes.  If you arrive early you will be expected to queue and maintain social distance outside regardless of the weather.
