NEWSLETTER – 30th August

These are your copies of the weekly newsletter, Sunday Message Reflections, the readings and Gospel and a Homily, Take some time out each week to read these and pray for the most in need in our local community and across our global family. Though parishioners cannot attend, Fr John will celebrate Mass for the people whose names are on the prayer page. Please remember that before adding names to the list you need their permission to do so.

Sunday Half Hour

Available now on our website – click the button below. The service based around the readings for the day provides prayers and material for reflection. Why not use this on Sunday at 10.00am to guide your time of prayer in solidarity with others in our parish community?

Mass bookings

I am delighted to tell you that we are now ready to re-open for public worship at St Aidans’s.

To ensure maintenance of social distancing in accordance with government guidelines we have a maximum capacity of 61 people so booking for Mass is ESSENTIAL….you can book via our website from Monday morning up until Thursday afternoon for the following week.

Mass bookings are limited to one per week. Remember you may only attend one Sunday Mass per month – we have many people who can only attend on a Sunday due to work commitments etc, this is limited to once per month to allow others the same opportunity to attend as and when they are ready, however, Sunday obligations have not been re-instated so you may attend any weekday Masses instead if possible..

Prayer Board

Please light a virtual candle and add your own prayers requests and/or intentions in the comments section below.  Though parishioners cannot attend, Fr John will celebrate Mass for the people whose names are on the prayer page. (If you are requesting a prayer for a living person please ensure you have their permission.)
