Journey to Easter
As we approach the season of Lent we are reminded that it is about committing ourselves to a deeper Christian life, becoming more available to God and to one another, and loving with the same kind of love as Jesus, that is totally and unconditionally, then for so many of us, it will involve a radical change of heart.
The way is conversion and invites of us a commitment to listening to God’s Word and giving it a response of love and commitment (prayer), giving up our selfishness (fasting) and caring for people (almsgiving). How will we respond to this life giving challenge is what the first four days of Lent are about. Let’s embrace the challenge this Lent and emerge at Easter time renewed! Don’t forget to pick up your copy of the Lent Extra Magazine and have a look on our web page for more information.
