VE day marks 75 years since the end of the 2nd World War, as we are unable to celebrate as we planned, we are switching to a virtual celebration. A coming together to celebrate, remember and sing some of the famous and uplifting songs from that time period.
As this was new to us all we had a practice run on Saturday evening at 7pm, I can't say it was a total success, but ultimately it was great fun and hopefully by the time it comes around we will have some glitches ironed out.
If you're interested in joining in, singing skills are not a requirement, just get in touch and I will send you the details (reply here or contact details are on the newsletter).
A short clip from the sing-a-long this afternoon....Happy Birthday to Norma and We'll Meet Again.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined in the fun, hopefully we will all be together again soon to celebrate properly.
